Preparing for the 85% Unknown

Dear Rohan Woods Community:

As the Head of Rohan Woods, it is my primary focus to ensure that our students are well prepared for the journey ahead for a future where 85% of the jobs they may hold do not currently exist. This may be startling information, but there are a number of technologies impacting our lives and even more anticipated on the horizon.

Teaching Project Approach provides not only a strong foundation for our students, but it also builds the scaffolding needed as they matriculate our program and beyond.

Beginning in our Early Childhood program all the way through Sixth Grade, there are a number of strategies taught at Rohan Woods that will give our students an advantage as they grow:

Developing Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
Learning to be Adaptable and Flexible
Growing in Communication Skills
Practicing Digital Literacy
Cultivating an Entrepreneurial Mindset
Becoming a Lifelong Learner

By focusing on these aspects, we aim to produce well rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient, but also equipped with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in school, and eventually, in an unknown job market.

All the best,

Sam
