We are so excited for our partnership with Goldfish Swim School in Warson Woods, and our new swimming unit in PE for Second through Fourth Graders! This unit is a great experience for students to build confidence and exercise in the pool.
We even had Bubbles on campus to teach our younger students about water safety! The techniques Goldfish Swim School teaches during the water safety class are the same techniques taught in the pool. Here are some of the most important water safety guidelines in an easy-to-remember acronym.
It’s easy: W.A.T.E.R.
W ear your life jacket.
A ct. Throw, don’t go.
T ake swim lessons.
E ducate. Learn swim safety skills.
R espect. Play it cool and follow the rules.
