After completing the Preschool Program, students move into our primary grades with a strong sense of self in relation to others and the world around them.
While the academic component becomes more complex, students simultaneously grow in critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
Organizational and test taking skills are incorporated into the curriculum along with foundational study skills. Personal responsibility is stressed as students begin to take ownership of their learning and choices. Creating leaders in the classroom and leaders of the future is an important step towards independence and becoming an active member in the school community. Many aspects of our Primary program contribute to the creation of a caring community that makes Rohan Woods School such a special place.
