Personalized Instruction

Helping each student reach their fullest potential.

At Rohan Woods, our faculty and staff not only know every child’s name – they know each child’s story. They know each student’s strengths and learning styles and are afforded the opportunity to design lessons tailored to meet the personal academic needs of their students. This helps each student reach their fullest potential.

Preschool students learn from sequential instruction that encompasses self-help skills, language development and integration into the school community in preparation for the school age program. In First and Second Grade, instruction facilitates individual student achievement laying the foundation for becoming strong, independent learners. Students in Third and Fourth Grade gain understanding of multiple strategies for learning and organization to coincide with individual learning styles, while Fifth and Sixth Grade focuses on developing independent learners for preparation to enter secondary independent schools.

While academics are important, so, too, is developing leadership skills at all ages. Rohan Woods students matriculate through an articulated, structured leadership program that was developed from within, not introduced from the outside. Learning leadership traits, no matter the age level, is in the Rohan Woods DNA. It is who we are…striving to nurture, develop and discover the leader within.
