Need-Based Tuition Reduction
At Rohan Woods, we are dedicated to ensuring that families can access the unique learning experience we offer. To support this commitment, we provide a need-based tuition reduction program.
We understand that every family’s financial situation is unique. Factors such as multiple children attending tuition-based institutions, elder care responsibilities, employment transitions, medical expenses, or student loan obligations may influence a family’s effective income. That’s why we carefully evaluate each family’s circumstances to determine their individual needs. Our goal is to partner with families to make the Rohan Woods experience accessible.
Processes and Considerations
For New Parents:
—Application Timing: Need-based tuition reduction decisions are provided with enrollment contract offers after submitting a completed school application.
—Award Prioritization: Current families are considered first; new family awards are based on remaining funds.
For All Parents (New and Returning):
Annual Application: Families must apply yearly by submitting a Parent’s Financial Statement
(PFS) via the Student and School Services (SSS) platform.
—Financial Review: SSS evaluates family assets and liabilities to recommend awards based on
financial need.
—Required Steps for the 2025-26 School Year:
1. Submit the PFS through SSS.
2. Provide 2023 or 2024 state and federal tax documents, either to the school directly or uploaded via SSS.Award Notifications:
—New Families: Award decisions accompany enrollment contract offers.
—Current Families: Need based tuition reduction awards are communicated in February with re-enrollment contracts.
Additional Notes:
—Award amounts may vary annually based on financial circumstances and budgetary constraints.
—All application information is treated confidentially.
