1. History and Growth:

· Founded in 1937 by Mrs. Helen Towles Rohan and Mrs. Mary Woods in University City, Missouri, with 12 students
· Expanded and moved to a farm in Creve Coeur in 1957
· Became a 501(c)3 nonprofit, purchased a school from the Webster Groves School District, and moved to Warson Woods in 1984.

2. Educational Approach:

· Emphasizes respect, responsibility, and leadership.
· Adopted the Project Approach in 2014, focusing on engaging academics and soft skills development; including, cooperation, collaboration, communication, and executive functioning.

3. Facilities and Programs:

· Added specialty wing, gymnasium, science lab, art and music rooms by 1998.
· Continuous upgrades, including the recent Re-FRESH project for modernizing classrooms and labs.

· Grades: Early Childhood (Age 2) to Middle School (Grades 5 & 6).
· Accredited by Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS).
· Class Size: Maximum 15, with a student-teacher ratio of approximately 8:1.
· Specialty Classes include Spanish, PE, Art, Music, PROJECT, and Science Lab.

5. Tuition and School Hours:

·  Tuition varies based on age or grade level and schedule.
·  Includes books, supplies, lunch, before care, and local field trips.
· School Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.

· Before Care and After Care services available.
· Homework Club available to students in 1st through Middle School.

· High achievement scores.
In a national comparison in 2023, 90% of our Sixth Graders scored in the 90th percentile or above on vocabulary and quantitative reasoning.

· Offers a quality Summer Preschool Program in June and July for ages 2-5.
· Staffed by Rohan Woods’ faculty.
