June and July were spent becoming familiar with county, state, and federal guidelines and participating in professional development to ensure a safe reopening for our students and employees. Through training, a reopening plan for Rohan Woods School was constructed to continue the educational excellence our students deserve. Our Plan is based on current health data and guidelines and may change as new information and data surfaces.
Rohan Woods is dedicated to opening school following these guiding principles:
–The health and safety of the students and employees are at the crux of all decisions, therefore current health information will drive all decision making.
–Campus instruction is paramount in facilitating social and emotional growth in children.
–The ideal teaching and learning environment is one in which students and teachers can interact face-to-face, building a sense of trust within our community.
–Providing in-person instruction is a collaborative effort between the school and families.
