DISCOVER A NEW APPROACH TO ELEMENTARY EDUCATION – The Project Approach! AND Learn about Financing Elementary Education, 529s and the New Tax Code.
Visit the school anytime from 9am-11am – and starting at 9:30am, we will have ongoing presentations of Financing Elementary Education and the New Tax Code. While on your tour, parents will experience first-hand activities and interaction between students and teachers as they walk through classrooms and the Specialty Wing that houses the Art Room, Music Room, Full Size Gymnasium AND Science Lab. During your tour, be sure to visit the Science Room and see the outdoor science lab, fruit and vegetable garden and prairie programs.
Rohan Woods School, an independent elementary school, is a unique school which creates a challenging academic environment incorporating the Project Approach to Learning. Here children feel comfortable and appreciated. To showcase the school’s philosophy, an open house will be held during school hours on Thursday – February 15, 2018 from 9am-11am.
Sam Templin-Page, Head of School, explains the atypical Open House event. “We are proud of our powerful sense of community and caring at Rohan Woods, and we want parents who may be interested in applying to see the school in action. This will give them a chance to talk with teachers and other parents, walk through the school, see the day-to-day interaction and ask questions.”
