Rohan Woods School participated in the US Green Building Council's 2014-15 "Green Schools Quest". USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter challenged public and private schools to devise and implement creative, effective and no or low cost sustainable practices for their schools.
We are proud to announce that Rohan Woods won the elementary division of the contest for our Year Round Garden! Spearheaded by Science Specialist, Kim Breckenridge, our raised bed garden grows vegetables all year round. Our students have first hand experience with making a garden, planting seeds, nurturing and harvesting our crops. Way to go, RWS!
