Leaves may fall but the music keeps rolling at Rohan Woods School!
All students are enjoying movement and song as we prepare for Halloween and Grandparents’ Day!
Students gather on the carpet for updates and greetings before being seated for our bowing test! On October 18th, First through Fourth Grades have been invited to Powell Symphony Hall for a special educational concert called “The Athletes of the Orchestra!” All students are learning about the families of instruments in the Orchestra and the teamwork required to make it all come together.
On a recent trip to Cedar Lake, Mr. D. noticed swans and decided to snap a photo for his classes since every music class ends with a recording of “The Swan” (from Carnival of the Animals by Camile Saint Saéns). Several students asked to see the photo again and again!
