In Unit 2, students learn about their family members through interactions with a Mexican Folktale “La Pulga” (The Flea).
In this unit, students:
- Can tell someone about their family
- Tell where their family members live
- Describe their neighborhood and community
- Compare their community to a Latin-American community
In their interactive notebooks, students have learned how to conjugate -ar/-er/-ir verbs. They have created a chart to refer to throughout the school year. They have also learned the irregular verb tener, and how to conjugate it.
