Middle School has started with amazing speed this year! During the second week of school, Middle Schoolers headed on their annual science excursion. This year, they headed west to Cottonwood Gulch, an outdoor science adventure to Albuquerque, New Mexico. While there, students learned about the Pueblo American Indians and their way of life through several archeological experiences. 
Back at school, students dove right back into Middle School life. We launched our new online Social Studies program and are enjoying the freedom the new program affords us to 
share our thoughts, experiences, and writing with each other. Students are learning what works best for them as far as managing their time and resources in our classrooms.
