The Second Graders at Rohan Woods are off to a great start this new school year! We've already visited the Litzsinger Road Ecology Center to learn about native habitats. We will be exploring native prairies right here at school! Read below to find out what else the Second Graders have been working on since school started!

The Second Graders have been working so hard the first two weeks of school! Here are just some of the things we've already covered in just nine days of learning!

  • Being great leaders for our Pre-K and First Grade Buddies
  • Playing Math enrichment games with our Third Grade friends
  • Using the iPads to practice math facts and reading fluency
  • Understanding and identifying place value up to 1,000
  • Writing numbers in standard, word, and expanded form
  • Using an Atlas to understand geography around the world

It is going to be a great year of learning and having fun in Second Grade at Rohan Woods!
