Congratulations to the Middle School students for completing a productive first trimester. Students wrapped up units in math including fractions and decimals. They have been working to become better problem solvers and math investigators. Thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers that hosted our Halloween party. Students had a great time designing Day of the Dead cookies. 
During October we finished reading Manic Magee and did some culmination projects. Students are looking forward to working on Readers’ Theater and elements of stories. Middle School students have been reading independently every day and completing Flight Reports to record progress. The recent chilly weather has been a great excuse to curl up and read a good book!
