Welcome Back! The students are back into the swing of things and working hard this new year. We returned to school and celebrated our own New Years. Each Junior Kindergartener thought about something they would want to learn to do this year. I have lots of students who want to try new and exciting things like roller skating, basketball, sewing, and ice skating.
The Junior and Senior Kindergarten completed their project culmination on gardens. The students displayed their garden design and research on gardens. Students completed representation drawings for different garden supplies while building observation and questioning skills. Students also practiced working in gardens and planting.
In math, students continue to build number recognition and one to one counting for numbers 11-20.
We are continue to work on proper letter formation and identifying beginning sounds.
