JK update 4.22

Happy Earth Day!

For the past two weeks, the Juniors have been learning all about taking care of the Earth.  We discussed recycling by sorting items into cardboard, paper, plastic, glass, aluminum and compost.  We also cut items out of a grocery store ad of things that can be recycled.  The Juniors even took a hike around the campus to clean up any litter.  The unit ended with an Earth Day celebration including a special snack and creating puzzles out of cereal boxes.
