We have had a great beginning of 2018 in Middle School! Students came back from break well-rested and ready to jump into the second half of the school year. We are continuing our Lego Research Project and will be presenting to parents soon. Students had a wonderful, educational trip to the Lego Store at West County and the Lego building exhibit at the Magic House. 
Fifth graders have been studying smaller numbers working with decimals and value of numbers. Sixth graders are learning important skills with variables and algebraic expressions to prepare them for future math classes. Upon returning from break, we have begun reading Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time. Students are excited to explore this work of Science Fiction.
