Happy New Year!
As we begin 2016 in Fifth grade, we remain focused on our study skills across the curriculum. It is such a pleasure to see the Fifth grade students take to the concepts of creating outlines, idea webs, note cards, and more to organize their information into parts that serve them well in the classroom.
Throughout the classroom we continue our Classroom Centers in order to address the individual and small group needs of each student
. I think we all agree that our 15-20 minute power centers are “the fastest 2 hours in the classroom!”
If you have not yet done so, don’t forget to sign up for conferences, which will be held on Friday, January 22nd from 8:00-3:00. As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or comments feel free to contact me at school. I will be happy to hear from you!
