The end of the 2016-2017 school year came upon us in the blink of an eye! Students finished and presented their year long Project at a Parent Open House. Students also presented their final Two Voices cross-curricular project.
Our art teacher planned a fabulous "Fine Arts Day" in and around St. Louis. "Instead of bringing artists to us," she said, "let's have the kids see what their creative spaces look like."
We headed to Reclaim Renew to learn about and practice woodworking; visited the studio of a former parent and contemporary glass artist; and learned about the history of clay-making at Krueger Pottery. Between jaunts we ran around and played at parks in and around town for a little nature art! A perfect trip to celebrate the end of a wonderful year!
We hope you all take the time to have a relaxing and safe summer and look forward to seeing you in the fall!
Sincerely,
Miss Mudd
