Students were excited to return from Spring Break and explore the new playground equipment. We are very thankful to our Rohan Woods families for purchasing these items. We are hoping for many sunny days to enjoy playing outside.
Middle School students spent the first week back from break reviewing key math skills to prepare for ERB testing. Testing takes place every Spring. Scores are included in applications for Secondary Schools. The students understand the importance of these tests and aim to perform well. 
Third trimester is a wonderful opportunity for students to practice their reading skills in small literature groups. Students are placed in a group of five to share a book they are mutually interested in reading. They rotate five reading jobs each meeting that include skills of illustration, vocabulary review, summarizing, making connections and reviewing important plot points. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate initiative and leadership during instruction.
