The past two weeks we have done an author study on Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss allows us to learn all about rhyming and silly stories. We read a variety of his books.

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish helped us review our colors. We made a project with our handprints.

Hop on Pop helped us practice our rhyming with CVC words.

With Green Eggs and Ham, we made green eggs and ham and everyone was able to try each! The ham was a big hit!

We read Horton Hears a Who and were able to watch the movie after.

We also learned about the letter L and M. We made L ladybugs and M monsters.

Next week we will be focusing on the letters N and O.

At home you can practice beginning sounds with your child.

Have a great weekend!

Margaret
